Hello Everyone!
Over the years I have had
several classroom themes. Here is a list
and a few pictures of my previous themes.
Primary colors
Frogs
Garfield
Bugs
Owls

Unfortunately, my laptop
crashed last month and I don’t have pictures from the Garfield or bug themes.
Some have lasted longer
than others but each one was fun while they lasted. I have definitely gotten better when it comes
to decorating over the years.
I am ready for a
change! This year my classroom theme
will be CAMPING. I have been busy working on it from home and
I am excited to see it all come together.
I will post pictures of my new theme next month when I get into my room
and have it all together.
I have also been working
on a few products. The latest one is my
10 Literacy Activities for Upper Grades.
It has a camping theme in honor of my new classroom theme.
Each activity includes
student directions, a poster, 16 task cards, student recording sheet, and an
answer key.
If you would like to win
free copy, leave me a comment with a decorating (board titles, items to buy,
etc.) suggestion for my camping themed room.
Don’t forget to leave me your email address. I will use the number generator to select one
winner at 10:00 p.m. tonight. (Eastern
Time)
Now, for my BIG
NEWS!! Tomorrow will be the start of my
100 follower giveaway! I am well over
that number on Bloglovin’, but don’t want to miss celebrating this
milestone! I am in awe that people are
actually reading my post and I want to thank all the wonderful people who have
taken time to comment on my posts or email me.
I truly appreciate it!

Thanks for visiting!
What about plastic fish, plastic bait, and fishing poles. If possible, some way to have a pond or stream with the pretend fish for the children to practice fishing.

I have a patriotic room theme and one thing the kids love are the jobs with theme names. Dept of Conservation are the kids in charge of dumping our recycling each week, Speaker of the House is the girls line leader. For a camping theme, you could have Park Rangers as table leaders. Camp Counselors could be the teacher helper, etc.

Congrats on 100 followers! :) If you have room, a small tent would look cute for your camping theme. And a fake campfire! lv2813@aol.com

I love camping! You could make a tent entrance to your door so it looks like everyone is entering a tent.

I love the camping theme! You should get a tent! How awesome would a reading corner be with a tent!

How about this adorable DIY campfire in a reading nook somewhere?! http://pinterest.com/pin/125537908335686015/ I think a camping theme would be so much fun!

I love the camping theme, how wonderful! I think a great bulletin board title would be "Let's Learn S'more!" You could use work samples or have the kids fill out sticky notes of what they want to learn this year.
ReplyDeleteThat would be kind of cute.
